Dear Chris,

I'm sorry all this crap happened to you. I've been infuriated with the (in)justice system for a long time, though I have never been personally a (major) victim of it. This is just one facet, and one example of a system that is corrupt and unfair thru and thru, because of many factors.

1) The judges are former prosecutors the vast majority of the time, meaning they tend to lean towards an aggressive 'convict the bastard' approach. They also tend to be socially conservative traditionalists who will automatically side with the woman in any domestic dispute. Finally, these types of people are obsessed with the idea that 'the law is the law' and refuse to examine any law critically, in cases where someone may have broken a law but didn't actually do anything harmful or wrong. "It's the legislature's responsibility", they say (along with any police or police sympathizers). Always trying to deflect responsibility.

2) The judges, prosecutors, and police naturally have a very close relationship. This makes the system highly biased towards the prosecution, state, local government, police, etc. It's also very tough for a more critical thinking oriented individual in that relationship to speak out against anything, since this relationship is almost 'fraternal' and not 'working together' is treated not as a civil disagreement but as a serious betrayal.

3) Prosecutors get paid based on how many convictions they get, which means that they'll try to get them even if its unfair.

4) Helpful safeguards like jury nullification have been all but done away with in the recent years. Judges and attorneys can REMOVE SOMEONE FROM THE BENCH because they disagree with the law; this is considered 'biased' but it isnt when its the other way around.

The whole system is ROYALLY FUCKED UP. From traffic courts to state courts to family courts, ideologues, cozy relationships between those in charge, and selfish pursuit of political power and money ALL TRUMP LEGITIMATE JUSTICE. It will be a long time before the court system is legitimately fair and it all hinges on people like Chris Tucker going out EN MASSE and demanding it will change. The problem is that before that can happen, people need to actually UNDERSTAND HOW IT REALLY WORKS.

You have my greatest condolences for your ordeal with the system; both Chris and Jamie. Just understand that this is not specific to 'Hillsborough County Florida'. This may be an egregious example but the problem is EVERYWHERE.

Was crazy, I never seen such a " victim ", she would always come over and act all upset, and when we would ask whats wrong she would reply "nothing", then somewhere along the line , make a comment like " It would b nice to have window tint on my car" , then dad would buy her tint, that kinda thing,would happen all the time , so much I began to think she was a gold digger, but,whatever she wanted she would get,by acting all sad and poor me, she even tricked my dad into giveing her five thousand dollars, all the while she had those restraining orders in her back pocket, she came to visit me one time and I asked her why she kept the order , and she told me it was just a peice of paper and not to worry, that she would never hurt my father, I think she used,them to get what she wanted, they would go years without fighting and then all of a sudden my dad would b in jail, five or six times she put him in there, when the worst he woulf have done is yell at her , mostly because she was such a lier it would drive dad crazy, nobody likes to b lied to , especially by someone they love. Watch out for people like her, sometimes miserable people want to make u miserable too, unfortunetly there are people in thhis world like her, watch out !

LOL Again, "Anonymous". Yeah RIGHT, I "assaulted Eileen with a Motor Vehicle" Then WHY has she continued to seek me out through 4 restraining orders. I don't know about YOU, but if someone "drug ME down 3 flights of stars, and ran me over with a Car" as she alleged, I would stay FAR away from that person! Certainly, I would not allow them to move me into an apartment, nor would I ask the court to DROP conditions of my probation or a restraining order that was in effect!
As to My "drug use", I have been clean for many years, and have helped others get off of drugs by starting and chairing AA and NA Meetings, and going into Prisons as a free Man, to tell my story. Eileen recently told me, and several others, that her husband Butch Jewell is addicted to Oxycontion, a pain medication related to Heroin! She just told us how he was getting 240 Oxycontin Narcotic Pain Pills a Month! Oxycontin abuse is at epidemic levels in Hillsborough County, and these Heroin Like Pain Pills are extremely addictive! Eileen Riordan also told us that Butch Jewell forced her to go to the Pain Management Doctor with him. She told us she did not want to go! At the pain management doctor's office, Butch Jewell had her go in the room with him and the doctor, and use her credentials as a Nurse to assure the doctor that Butch Jewell was not abusing the medication!
The doctor increased the amount of Oxycontin Pills from 240 to 320 pills a MONTH. This is an incredibly large amount of pain medication for someone who works as a mechanic! I submit, if anyone's "emotional growth" was "stunted" due to drug addiction, perhaps it is that of her husband Warren Earl Jewell, AKA as Butch Jewell.

To the last Anonymous Poster, thank you for your comment. It would be nice to use your real name when making unfounded accusations ? Everything I have posted is true to the best of my knowledge, and I have documentation to back it up. IF you have any facts you can document that show what I posted to be untrue, either post them in a comment showing your real name, or simply email them to me. The un truths and deceit of Eileen Riordan in matters pertaining to this Hillsborough County Violation Of Restraining Order case have cost me plenty in emotional duress, and nearly ruined my business. I am in a very competitive business, and thanks to the clearly documented lies and her withholding of the truth, I was forced to plead guilty. Or stay in the Hillsborough County Jail under a 200,000.00 Bond I was unable to meet. My competitors are sending potential customers to the record of this case. All these potential customers see is what looks like a stalker, and someone who apparently violated several restraining orders, with no regards or respect for the Law!
Please allow my right to free speech, to tell my side of the story.

I just read your blog and can totally relate to the unjustness of the legal system, which has employed me for the last 25 years! Even I am not immune from the injustices meted out by it - having just dismissed an unwarranted Temporary Injunction my daughter obtained with nothing but lies after she physically attacked me and I had no choice but to Baker Act her (she is 32 with 2 kids, one of whom I used to have custody of). You and other victims are in my prayers. God help us all!
